Faculty of Sports Science at Tanta University held its regular monthly council meeting on Saturday, March 28th, 2026, under the chairmanship of Prof. Hany Sa’eed, Faculty Dean and Head of the Council. The meeting addressed a number of academic and administrative issues listed on the agenda.
   Before the session officially began, the council witnessed a gesture of appreciation, as the dean and council members honored:
•    Prof. Sheriff Saleh, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research 
•    Prof. Amany Al-Behairy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs 
   The recognition marked the end of their tenure, with the dean expressing, on behalf of the faculty, his sincere gratitude and appreciation for their dedicated efforts and continuous hard work during their time in office. He praised their significant contributions to advancing the faculty and strengthening both the educational and research systems, particularly in Postgraduate studies and student affairs departments.

For their part, the honorees expressed their pride in receiving this recognition, thanking the faculty administration and council members for the spirit of cooperation that characterized their work. They also wished the faculty continued success and progress.
   Following the honoring ceremony, the council proceeded to discuss key topics aimed at enhancing academic and service performance within the faculty.
