Mission of the Educational Media Program (press, radio, and television)

The Educational Media Program - specialization in journalism, radio and television at the Faculty of Specific Education, Tanta University - aims to prepare a qualitative specialist who is distinguished scientifically and technically, capable of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship through a supportive and advanced educational environment that takes into account individual differences, keeps pace with the requirements of the labor market, and keeps pace with global developments in the field. Research that contributes to the development and service of society to achieve sustainable development goals.

Objectives of the Educational Media Program “Press, Radio and Television

The objectives of the “Educational Media, Press, Radio and Television” program stipulate the following:
  1. Improving the quality of performance of human cadres from journalism, radio and television specialists to work in educational, newspaper, radio and television institutions and electronic newspaper websites.
  2. Raising the efficiency of the educational system to increase competitiveness and keep pace with local and global developments related to the specialization, through a supportive and advanced educational environment and high-quality programs.
  3. Leadership in scientific research, excellence and innovation in the field of journalism, radio and television to serve community issues and environmental development in order to achieve sustainable development goals.
  4. The ability to be creative, innovative and entrepreneurial in the field of journalistic, radio and television work, within educational, media and journalistic institutions.
  5. Activating partnerships with educational, media, press, and research institutions locally and internationally, and diversifying areas of cooperation with community institutions, in light of the sustainable development goals.
  6. Continuous interaction with global developments and developments and anticipating the nature and impact of those developments and changes on the press, radio and television programme, in order to provide society with the competencies required by development, and to fill the needs of the educational and media labor market for journalism, radio and television specialists.
  7. Developing mechanisms for continuous improvement in all elements of the educational and research process to internationalize the journalism, radio and television programme.
