Department of Music Education at Faculty of Specific Education at Tanta University seeks to achieve leadership, quality and excellence through its academic programs locally and regionally to serve community

Mission of the Department

It is to prepare an outstanding graduate who meets labor market needs in all fields related to music and who is able to conduct scientific research, presents services to community and disseminate music culture

Study at the Department aims to

  1. Prepare a qualified graduate to undertake the profession of teaching music and upgrade the artistic taste of musical instruments
  2. To prepare innovative artists in the area of music who can embody feelings of individuals and groups, and can arouse hope and creative work through music symbols
  3. To carry out training programs for persons who work in fields of music education
  4. To conduct research and scientific studies that aim to upgrade knowledge and theoretical and applied principles in fields of music and educational studies
