Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences - Faculty of Specific Education – Tanta University
The Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences is the sixth department at the Faculty, which assigned to the educational preparation of students and represents 20% of the courses at:
Courses of Curricula and Teaching Methods department, Courses of the Educational Foundations, comparative education, courses of decisions of educational psychology department and courses of mental health department. It participates with the Faculty of Education in this preparation, considering the specific education one of the faculties of education .It seeks to enhance the graduate with the ability to achieve some objectives like
1- Design a teaching plan and educational environments that suit the diversity of learners
2- Applying the teaching methods taking into account the characteristics, patterns learning of the learners
3- Using appropriate methods and tools to evaluate the different aspects of the teaching and learning
4- The Department deals professionally with people with special needs for educational integration.
5- Developing himself professionally and builds diverse professional relationships
6- Awareness of the unity of knowledge and complementary relations between fields of science branches
7- Employing the mechanisms of educational and psychological guidance and entrepreneurship in his professional practices
8- Effectively Communication using his personal abilities and IT skills
9- Understanding the developments related to the specialization
10- Communication in a good Arabic and in one of the foreign languages.
11- Adhering to the values of society and the ethics of the profession of education and ethics in dealing with learners and stakeholders.
12- Awareness the cultural identity of the nation

4- Using Educational technology in the teaching and learning processes
