Tanta University Launches “Hidden World” Competition for Students of Faculty of Sports Science


   The Science Club Center at the General Administration of Student Welfare at Tanta University has announced the launch of the “Hidden World” competition for students of Faculty of Sports Science. The initiative is held as part of the university efforts to support scientific activities and encourage students’ creativity and innovation.
Students interested in participating are requested to visit the Youth Welfare Office at the Faculty of Sports Science to register. The competition covers several scientific themes designed to highlight different aspects of science through photography.
Competition Categories:
1.    Hidden Worlds: Microscopic images revealing details that cannot be seen with the naked eye.
2.    Our Changing Planet: Topics related to climate change and biodiversity in line with Egypt Vision 2030.
3.    Symphony of Life: Documenting the behavior of living organisms and their interaction with the environment.
4.    Space and the Universe: Astronomical phenomena, stars, and applications of space technology.
5.    Engineering and Innovation: Sustainable architecture, robotics, and modern technological applications.
6.    People of Science: Documenting scientists and researchers while working in laboratories or in the field.
Competition Requirements:
•    Participants must be enrolled at Tanta University during the academic year 2025/2026.
•    The submitted photo must be taken by the student and must not be copied or heavily edited. Each student may submit one photo only in one competition category.
•    A short scientific caption explaining the concept or phenomenon in the photo must accompany the submission (100–150 words).
•    The photo must clearly relate to one of the announced competition themes. Minor edits such as adjustments to lighting or color are allowed, provided they do not alter the scientific content. The image must also comply with the university’s ethical standards.
The deadline for submissions is March 25th, 2026, at the General Administration of Student Welfare at the university.
