Tanta University launched the events of the 18th Scout Festival in attendance of Prof. Mohammed Hussein, Acting Tanta University President; faculty deans, vice deans, and Dr. Magdy Wakwak, General Coordinator of Student Activities, with participation of 12 faculties.
   During the speech he delivered, Prof. Mohammed Hussein expressed his happiness to participate in the festival and affirmed that the university is keen on sharpening of students’ skills and benefiting from their capabilities in various fields. Therefore, student activities are supported as they help in forming students’ personality. He pointed out that the festival is held based on the directives given by Prof. Ayman Ashor, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, who highlights the necessity of the student activities which contribute to developing the human abilities and providing the students with the knowledge and skills they need to achieve their target in different fields. He thanked deans of the faculties and vice deans for their support to the variant student activities.
