Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research Department at Faculty of Sports Science has announced the results of the second stage of the Research Excellence Competition for Postgraduate Students of the academic year 2025/2027 at the faculty level, following the completion of the judging and evaluation process in accordance with the approved criteria and regulations of the competition.
  The competition reflects the commitment of the university to supporting excellence and innovation in scientific research and encouraging postgraduate students to produce outstanding research with both academic and practical value.
The results were as follows:
•    First Place: Researcher Hossam Gamal Hadhood
•    Second Place: Researcher Yasmin Hassan Mahmoud Al-Dakroury
   Prof. Hany Sa’eed, Dean of the Faculty of Sports Science, expressed his sincere appreciation to all heads of the academic departments for their fruitful cooperation. He praised the spirit of teamwork that contributes to enhancing the faculty standing and to preparing a new generation of researchers equipped with the knowledge and expertise needed to meet the challenges of the labor market.
   Prof. Sheriff Saleh, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, extended his congratulations to the winning researchers, emphasizing that the announced results represent the first and second places at the faculty level.
   The first-place winner at the faculty level will qualify to participate in the Final Scientific Forum of Tanta University Research Excellence Competition for Postgraduate Students, scheduled to be held on Sunday, November 8th, 2026. The forum will bring together the first-place winners from the various faculties to compete for the first, second, and third places at the university level.
   The faculty extended its best wishes to all its postgraduate researchers for continued success and further academic and research achievements.
