As part of the ongoing efforts of Tanta University to monitor the educational process at the start of the academic year, 2026/2027, Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President of Tanta University for Education and Student Affairs, conducted an extensive inspection tour at Faculty of Sports Science on Monday, September 22nd, 2026.
   The tour aimed to assess readiness for the new academic year and ensure the provision of a supportive and stimulating educational environment for students.
   Prof. Al-Agouz was accompanied by Prof. Hany Sa’eed, Faculty Dean; Prof. Fatema Bassiouny, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Heba Rawhy, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Prof. Sheriff Saleh, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research. The tour was also attended by a number of academic staff, assistant staff, and both new and returning students.
   University Vice President began his field tour by joining students from all four academic levels in the morning assembly and the national flag ceremony. He then toured the faculty to monitor the regularity of lectures and ensure that all necessary measures were in place to provide an appropriate educational environment that supports learning and innovation.
   As part of the visit, Prof. Al-Agouz held an open meeting and direct dialogue with students in the conference hall at the faculty. He welcomed both new and returning students, congratulated them on the beginning of the new academic year, and wished them a year filled with success and excellence.
   During the meeting, he emphasized that Tanta University is pursuing an ambitious vision aimed at providing students with an integrated university experience that goes beyond academic achievement to include training, character building, skills development, and the promotion of belonging and social responsibility.
   He also listened to students’ views and suggestions, stressing that direct and continuous communication with students is a key pivot in improving educational and student services.
   University Vice President called for commitment to attendance and regular participation in lectures according to the announced schedules to ensure that students make the most of the university available resources. He also encouraged students to actively participate in student activities from the first day of classes, highlighting their important role in character building and fostering teamwork.
   At the same time, he praised the exerted efforts in preparing a comprehensive and diverse student activities plan designed to meet students’ interests and provide them with genuine opportunities to discover and develop their talents.
