Faculty of Sports Science at Tanta University officially launched its activities for the new academic year, 2026/2027 with a series of awareness and orientation lectures for newly admitted students.
The program was inaugurated by Prof. Hany Sa’eed, Faculty Dean, alongside the vice deans namely; Prof. Fatema Bassiouny, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Heba Rawhy, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Prof. Sheriff Saleh, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research.
The opening activities were attended by a number of academic staff and assistant staff, as well as new and returning students.
The first day of the program, held on Saturday, September 19th, began with the morning assembly and the national flag salute. Following this, students headed to the athletics track for their first physical preparation session before moving to the lecture halls to continue the orientation activities.
The orientation program, running from September 19th through September 24th, features a comprehensive schedule of training and educational activities for both male and female students. The daily program includes physical fitness sessions, as well as introductory lectures on academic regulations and the credit-hour system.
The lectures introduce students to the official website of the faculty and the electronic services available through it; in addition to providing guidance on the appropriate use of the official social media platforms. The program aims to help new students integrate effectively and successfully into the academic life.
