Head of the Actors’ Syndicate visits Tanta University

Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, and Prof. Rania El-Emam, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, received Mr. Ashraf Zaki, Head of the Actors’ Syndicate, at the university’s General Administration headquarters.

This official visit took place on the sidelines of a public PhD defense in Theater, within the Educational Media Department at the Faculty of Specific Education, Tanta University, where he participated as an external examiner. The visit aimed to strengthen cooperation between the university and the acting profession, with a focus on developing students’ creative skills and establishing mechanisms to provide technical and artistic support for talented individuals in acting and theater.

Prof. Rania El-Emam emphasized that the coming period will witness numerous discussions and joint artistic events, praising this constructive collaboration. She noted that the presence of such a prominent figure as the Head of the Actors’ Syndicate at Tanta University and the Faculty of Specific Education serves as a strong motivation for students and researchers to strive for excellence and creativity.
