Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Rania Abdo El-Emam, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, Tanta University, the Ph.D. dissertation of researcher Ghada Ahmed Mohamed Gaeitar, Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Educational Technology, Faculty of Specific Education, Tanta University, was publicly defended on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 12:00 noon in the Faculty’s Scientific Discussion Hall.

The thesis Defense and Examination Committee consisted of:

1. Prof. Hamdy Ismail Abdelaziz Shaaban – Professor Emeritus of Educational Technology, former Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, and former Vice President of Tanta University for Community Service and Environmental Development. (Principal Supervisor)

2. Prof. Hasnaa Abdelaty Ismail El-Tabakh – Professor and Head of the Department of Educational Technology, Faculty of Specific Education, Tanta University. (Supervisor and Examiner)

3. Prof. Mohamed El-Sayed El-Naggar – Professor of Educational Technology and Director of Educational Studies Programs at the Egyptian E-Learning University. (External Examiner)

4. Associate Prof. Ayman Mostafa El-Fakharany – Associate Professor of Library and Information Systems, Faculty of Specific Education, Tanta University. (Internal Examiner)

Following the public defense and deliberations, the committee recommended awarding the researcher a Ph.D. in Specific Education, specializing in Educational Technology (Instructional Media and Libraries), with a grade of Excellent.

The committee also recommended that the thesis be published at the university’s expense and that copies be exchanged among universities.
