Prof. Mustafa Al-Sheikh Announces Recommendations of the Conference Held by Tanta Faculty of Specific Education for Tourism Activation

       Prof. Mustafa Al-Sheikh, Tanta University Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, announced the recommendations of the conference held by Faculty of Specific Education in Hurghada under auspices of Prof. Magdi Sab', University President under the title "Specific Studies and their Role in Activating Tourism for Development of National Economy" whose activities finished today. The most important of these recommendations were establishment of a center for marketing scientific papers and giving due interest to studies related to Egyptian pharaonic, Islamic and Coptic heritage in order to attract foreign tourists to promote national economy, to encourage small art projects that produce Egyptian souvenirs, to boost scientific research in the field of art education, to make use of their research outputs and practical applications in producing works of art that attract tourists, and to train specialists of education technology in analyzing websites of Egyptian tourism to help propagating them on search engines.

 

 

    University Vice President added that the recommendations included encouraging researchers and specialists in music to present studies and scientific papers on songs about Egyptian tourism, disseminating information about Egyptian tourism and its different kinds such as the therapeutic, religious, environmental and cultural tourism, and holding musical, artistic and sports festivals in tourist areas.

 

    Prof. Mustafa Al-Sheikh stated that the most significant recommendations of education technology were the necessity of utilizing technology such as hologram to activate tourism in Egypt through embodiment of figures of art and culture as well as the tourist attractions to support the efforts exerted by Ministry of Tourism, establishment of virtual museums of Egyptian tourist and monumental treasures, circulating them on the web as advertising programs to attract tourists, and founding a TV channel in foreign languages to promote tourism.
